| Aims
and Objectives
It is our policy that all children within our care are offered the opportunity to experience quality childcare and education within a safe and stimulating environment, which offers a wide range of activities that provide a balanced curriculum.
Every child’s welfare, development and best interests are of paramount importance to us and therefore each child shall be considered, treated and respected on an individual basis.
We understand that meeting the needs of the children in our care is a shared responsibility and that in most cases the parent, carer and family are of central importance to the well being of the child. It would therefore follow that feelings and views and/or wishes of parents/carers should and will be recognised.
As a nursery we are committed to providing quality day-care and education and to that end we will be subject to regular inspection by the regulatory body Ofsted and will promote ongoing staff training. In order to underpin learning and to ensure a smooth transition to compulsory education each child shall work within the Early Years Foundation Stage according to his or her stage of development as identified by theDepartment for Education and Skills, Document: Early Years Foundation Stage 2007/2008.
