Meals;
Meals are prepared courtesy of Lingfield Leisure Club and are good home cooked food with an emphasis on a healthy balanced diet.
A selection of lunchtime menus:
- Meat balls with fresh vegtables -
yogurt
- Meat, potatoes and vegetables –
apple pie and custard
- Jacket potato, tuna and sweet corn
– rice pudding
- Pasta bolognaise – fruit
mousse
A selection of tea menus:
- Ham sandwich, piece of cheese,
sliced cucumber, grapes, apple and crisps
- Cheese and tomato sandwich, scotch
egg, banana, fruit scone
- Croissant, served with jam, slice
of ham and cheese, carrot, banana and cake
- Sausage roll, scotch egg, crispbread
and butter, tomato, cucumber, pear and raisons
Parents with children with a special dietary requirement
may be asked to sign an additional consent form.
Daily record sheet includes information on rest and sleep, nappies and toileting, food and drinks as well as their involvement in play and focused activities.
- The staff at Jelly Beans Nursery will take time at the end of each session to discuss the child’s day
- The opportunity is always available for appointments to be made with senior staff for discussions of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Parent consultation appointments
- Parents/carers are encouraged to visit the nursery before accepting a place
- Parents/carers are free to stay with the children to settle in
- Jelly Beans Nursery operates an open and honesty policy
Basic Needs:
- A daily routine, though structured, allows for each child to needs to be met
- Quiet area for sleeping
- Individual bed linen is supplied
- All sheets and bed linen are laundered daily
- Milk kitchen is on site for preparation and storage of baby foods
- Child size toilets and wash basins
