At Jelly Beans Nursery we have two roo22 children – the Baby
room
and the Pre-school room. We
alsms accommodating up
to o have two children's toilets; nappy changing room; kitchen;
enclosed outside play area; an expanse
of grounds for
nature walks and use of aerobics studio for indoor physical
play.

The
Baby Room
This room accommodates up to 6 or 9 babies and toddlers under
two years old and is generously staffed.
Our responsibility:-

Baby Room |
Each child will be cared for as an individual, taking into
consideration their age and stage of development, their personal
routines, and any other requirements requested by the parents.
At Jelly Beans nursery your child will be encouraged to develop
through the provision of a variety of activities and experiences
aimed at their individual learning.
Before you child starts at Jelly Beans a senior member of
staff from the baby room will discuss all of your child’s
needs to ensure continuity of care. A daily record sheet will
be completed at the end of each session to provide a detailed
account of your child’s day. See Day to Day
Your responsibility:-
- Nappies
- Wipes
- Change of clothes
- Dummies – if required
- Comforter – if required
- Bottles – if required (named)
- Food – for those not requiring
nursery dinners/tea etc (named)
- Sunhats – in summer
- Wellies – in winter
Pre-school
room
This room accommodates up to 12 or 16 pre-school children and is generously staffed.
Our responsibility:-

The daily routine, though structured, allows for flexibility
to enable the nursery curriculum to be presented in a relaxed
and informal way.
The curriculum is presented using topic themes in order to
underpin learning. Each child will 'work' within the Early
Years Foundation Stage according to their age and stage
of development.
Each day our pre-schoolers take part in any one of a number of extra curricula activities some of which are presented by professionals in their own field: French, Football skills, Computers, Drama and Cookery.
Your responsibility:-

- Change of clothes ( more than one please
if potty training)
- Food – for those not requiring
nursery dinners/teas (named)
- Sunhats – in summer
